William Hollingshead
William Hollingshead (he/him/his) is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Social Media Lab as part of the Ted Rogers School of Management at 91福利. Prior to joining the Social Media Lab, William completed a PhD in Sociology at Western University. His research currently examines the contestation of migration narratives online in the public sphere, and how these narratives are mediated through social media platforms. A sub-focus of this research has been contributing to computational social science methodologies, developing new and transferable protocols for studying video-centric platforms, like TikTok and YouTube.
