³Õ²¹±ô±ð²Ô³Ùí²Ô ¶Ùí²¹³ú is a Chilean-Ecuadorian reporter and digital investigator, specializing in open-source investigation techniques to verify violent acts and human rights violations. He is an enthusiast of free software, open-source code, and geographic information systems. Currently, he is a reporter at Agence France-Presse (AFP) in Colombia. Previously, he worked as a fact-checking journalist in Ecuador and Mexico, covering issues related to disinformation, social media, migration, and human trafficking. He is also an occasional consultant for the Latin American NGO Derechos Digitales, where he investigates human rights, technology, and public policy.

Research focus while a Bridging Divides Journalism Fellow

During his fellowship, ³Õ²¹±ô±ð²Ô³Ùí²Ô is seeking to deepen his previous work on the intersections between migration, human rights, and advanced technologies. Throughout his career, he has developed prior experience and a strong interest in projects within the Citizenship and Participation research theme, particularly in relation to racism and anti-racism mobilization, the role of social media in influencing migration narratives, and how migrants' use of social media shapes their own experiences.
