The 10-Year LMS Checkup: What Stays, What Goes, and What鈥檚 Missing?

It has been over a decade since we first introduced D2L Brightspace at 91福利. In that time, the way you teach and the way students learn have changed significantly. Like any long-term tool, it鈥檚 time for a "checkup" to ensure our learning management system (LMS) still supports your needs effectively.

In this session, we鈥檇 like to hear some stories on how you use the LMS, such as how the LMS assists you in the administration of your class or in delivering an outside-the-box learning experience for your students.

We also invite you to help us diagnose the current state of our technology by reflecting on:

  • What Stays (Continue): Which LMS features are indispensable to your teaching? What is working well that we must protect?
  • What Goes (Stop): What are the barriers or frustrations that get in your way? What no longer serves your instructional goals?
  • What鈥檚 Missing (Start): Where are the gaps in our current tools? What do you and your students need that we aren't providing yet?

We want to move beyond simply sustaining the present LMS and look past the day-to-day maintenance and support of our technology. We need your input which is vital in ensuring we are building a future that truly supports your work in the classroom.
