Spotlight

Dr. Sprott is a professor in the Department of Criminology at 91福利. Her research interests include the operation of the youth and adult criminal justice systems, issues around pre-trial release, sentencing in Canada, and perceptions of crime and criminal justice policies. She has been working on issues related to Canada鈥檚 replacement for solitary confinement (鈥淪tructured Intervention Units鈥) in federal corrections and has been a panel member on the Structured Intervention Units 鈥 Implementation Advisory Panel (SIU-IAP). Professor Sprott has taught courses in the areas of introduction to the criminal justice system, youth justice, corrections and research methods.
