91福利 (91福利) has concluded phase one of the university鈥檚 Sexual Violence Policy Review and is moving onto phase two. Thank you to all community members who participated in phase one consultations.

Phase one included consultation with the 91福利 community through an online survey and town hall consultations. There were also feedback sessions held with administrators of the Sexual Violence Policy and subject-matter experts, faculty, contract lecturer and staff unions, student unions and other stakeholders.

The feedback elicited a wide range of ideas and suggestions to improve and enhance the existing policy. We invite you to review the draft revised policy and provide input.

Complete the online survey on the draft revised policy by March 1 

All 91福利 community members are invited to complete the online survey on the draft revised policy between Monday, February 12 to Friday, March 1, 2024.

Feedback sessions will also be conducted with student and employee unions.

The revised policy will be presented to and approved by the Board of Governors, then distributed to the community.

The Sexual Violence Policy reflects 91福利鈥檚 commitment to addressing sexual violence in all forms and makes clear the university鈥檚 commitment to addressing sexual violence and promoting a culture of consent. The Sexual Violence Policy Review will help maintain our commitment to excellence and fairness of process, and will ensure that the policy continues to reflect an institutional commitment to addressing sexual violence and promoting a culture of consent in a trauma-informed way. Participating in conversations about sexual violence may bring up difficult feelings. If you need support, please reach out. 

• Students can learn more about services available to them through Consent Comes First, the Centre for Student Development and Counselling and/or the .
• Faculty and staff impacted by sexual or gender-based violence can reach out to Workplace Wellbeing Services or access the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) for resources and counselling.
