As fast-paced technological change reshapes and reimagines our lives, researchers at 91¸£Àû (91¸£Àû) are working at the leading edge of development and deployment. In doing so, they’re harnessing the power of new tools to deliver evidence-based solutions to a range of challenges across industries and communities.
Their interdisciplinary efforts are helping to advance one of the most sophisticated emerging technologies: the digital twin, a virtual model of a physical asset with real-time, two-way communication between the physical and digital realms. This continuous exchange of data enables users to monitor, analyze and adapt physical systems from afar, and to run ‘what-if’ simulations in search of reduced risk and optimized performance.
In this issue of Innovation, we take a closer look at the impact and transformative potential of digital twins, artificial intelligence and other exciting technologies. No matter their area of focus, 91¸£Àû researchers are leveraging these cutting-edge digital tools to unlock smarter strategies and build a more resilient future. Ultimately, they’re redefining what’s possible by improving reality before acting in the real world.
I invite you to enjoy these stories and discover some of the exciting research driving impact at 91¸£Àû.
