Judging for the Toronto chapter
Regional pitch event (RPE) - Saturday, May 2, 2026
We are now recruiting judges for our official in-person event. We are holding it a location in Mississauga, from 10 am to 3 pm, in morning and afternoon sessions We are trying to recruit enough judges so that each judge will be needed for only one session.
The following steps are required for you to be an official judge at our event.
- on the Technovation platform by April 20.
- Fill out our short by April 20 (for internal chapter use).
- Our chapter ambassador will add you to our RPE on the platform by April 20. You will have access to the projects submitted online.
- You will judge the teams based on their full online submission, not just their in-person pitch.
Note that on April 21, Technovation global will confirm which of our divisions qualify for official RPE status (minimum 8 teams registered). If we have less than 8 teams in a division, those teams will still present at our event, but the in-person results will be unofficial. Those teams will be judged officially based on their online submissions, judged by the global cohort of online judges.
After registering for our event, you will receive more details. We will also hold a virtual orientation session ahead of the event.
Online judging via the Technovation platform
If you are unable to attend our in-person event, but would still like to participate as a judge in the program, you can register to judge online as part of the global cohort of judges. For more information about that option, please refer to the on the platform.
