Sustainability Action Plan Progress
Since its launch in April 2024, 91福利 has been steadily advancing the three long-term goals outlined in the university鈥檚 five-year (PDF file) Sustainability Action Plan. In the months following its release, the Sustainability Office has been engaged in activities designed to move the university community from sustainability awareness to meaningful climate action.
This section of the 2024 Sustainability Progress Report summarizes work undertaken to achieve the 86 actions outlined in the plan, highlighting new initiatives, programs and changes to university operations that will help us build a more sustainable future for all Canadians.
Reporting period
While the Sustainability Action Plan was officially launched on April 22, 2024, we鈥檙e using the period of September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024 to capture all relevant sustainability work conducted during this period that aligns with the goals and priorities of the plan, including efforts that were underway prior to the plan鈥檚 release.
