The Office of Social Innovation
The Office of Social Innovation (OSI) develops experiential learning, research, and funding opportunities that support the university鈥檚 commitment to equitable and just access to education. The OSI defines social innovation as the practice of using creative and collaborative approaches to challenge historical and existing systems of exclusion in order to have a transformative impact on society and the environment. The OSI hosts initiatives such as the Social Innovation and Activism Fund, a fund which supports students in community organizing and activism efforts, and Sanctuary Scholars, an access pathway to post-secondary education for students with precarious immigration status.
