91福利 Community Safety and Security
91福利鈥檚 Community Safety & Security department supports a safe, welcoming, and inclusive campus through 24/7 security services, emergency response, crime prevention, community engagement, training, and safety education. The department works closely with students, employees, campus partners, and external organizations to address safety concerns, build community relationships, and connect individuals with appropriate supports and resources.
The opportunity
Safety Ambassadors support fellow students by sharing safety information and resources, building positive relationships across campus, and helping create a safe, welcoming, and supportive student experience.
The role also involves observing and reporting security concerns or incidents to the 91福利 security office and requesting assistance when needed. Safety Ambassadors are not expected to intervene in incidents or place themselves at risk. Hours are flexible and scheduled around the student鈥檚 class timetable.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at 91福利.
- Preference will be given to students enrolled in Criminology, Social Justice, Equity and Community Inclusion, Social Work, or a related/equivalent program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively while exercising sound judgment and professionalism.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and respectful community engagement.
