Dr. Usha George, Project Director (2018鈥2021) is recognized for her expertise in newcomer settlement and integration. She has completed 10 studies in the field of newcomer settlement for the Ontario Region Settlement Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) as well as several studies funded by the SSHRC. Dr. George is based in the School of Social Work and is the Director of the Toronto Metropolitan Centre for Immigration and Settlement (TMCIS) at 91福利.
Mira Boskovic, Project Coordinator (2019鈥2021) has extensive experience working as a research manager both in clinical and academic settings. She has been involved in multiple multi-million large scale longitudinal projects focused on the health, children鈥檚 social and emotional development and adjustment of immigrants and refugees across Canada.
Thomas Howe, Research Assistant (2019鈥2021) is an experienced research assistant with considerable experience working in academic research. He recently earned a Social Service Worker 鈥 Gerontology Diploma from Sheridan College and has worked extensively with the Sheridan Centre for Elder Research.
