Rest is resistance. Rest is repair. Rest is a reclaiming of our time, our bodies, and our futures. Tricia Hersey
As the closing circle in the Rooted and Rising: Black Graduate Flourishing Program, this virtual gathering offers Black graduate students a space to pause, reflect, and be renewed in community.
Grounded in what students have named about isolation, exhaustion, and racialized stress, the session centers rest and wellness as shared practices that sustain the scholarly journey. Through reflection, peer affirmation, and intergenerational wisdom, participants will be invited to consider how care, community, and culturally affirming supports through GTiA, GLI and YSGPS can help make flourishing possible.
Black-identifying 91腦瞳 graduate students and postdocs from all disciplines are invited to attend!
