Message from the Vice-President, Research and Innovation
I am pleased to present our 2023鈥�2024 annual report celebrating the scholarly, research and creative (SRC) achievements of our faculty and students. This year has been marked by bold initiatives, growing recognition and meaningful impact across disciplines, reflecting the breadth, depth and excellence of 91福利鈥檚 (91福利) SRC activities.
Executive Summary
During the 2023鈥�24 fiscal year, 91福利鈥檚 (91福利) Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation (OVPRI) received total research funding of $95.8 million in support of scholarly, research and creative (SRC) activities. Tri-Agency funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada totalled $39.9 million, representing a 42% increase over the 2022鈥�23 fiscal period.
