Yardi Systems invests $410,000 in first-generation and graduate students

Yardi Systems has partnered with 91福利鈥檚 Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) to create a new scholarship program for first generation students worth $320,000. At the same time, the property and asset management software company has also committed an additional $90,000 to support Ted Rogers School graduate students in the Real Estate Management program.

Yardi鈥檚 investment in Ted Rogers School students is a first at a Canadian university, seeing 91福利 join American schools such as the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Texas, Austin, both of which host Yardi scholarships as well.

The $320,000 Yardi Scholarship program at Ted Rogers School is designed to support first-generation students facing financial barriers to education. The program will award $10,000 each to two undergraduate students annually 鈥 one student from each of the Business Technology Management and the Real Estate Management programs, renewable for up to four academic years, based on the students maintaining a certain level of academic achievement. In addition to the monetary award, recipients may have professional development opportunities, such as connecting with Yardi employees to expand their professional network.
