Ted Rogers MBA ranked top tier in sustainability
The Ted Rogers MBA has been named a Tier 1 Green MBA by the editors of .
91福利鈥檚 Ted Rogers MBA was one of only four Canadian MBA programs included in the international list鈥檚 top tier of more than 30 programs. The magazine said it assessed programs based on the percentage of core courses focused on ethical, social and environmental impact, as well as experiential learning opportunities, university-wide sustainability initiatives, faculty research, delivery methods and accreditation.
鈥淭his year鈥檚 Green MBA Rankings showcase business schools that are championing sustainable business practices and, in so doing, developing responsible leaders capable of driving meaningful change,鈥 the magazine said.
Cynthia Holmes, Dean of the Ted Rogers School of Management, said the top ranking result is a tribute to the innovative approach to learning embodied by the school鈥檚 faculty members.
鈥淭he Ted Rogers MBA has been a leader in integrating sustainability into our program because our school is built on three related pillars: Student learning and success, positive impact through scholarly research and local and global collaboration, and connection and community,鈥 Dean Holmes said. 鈥淥ur faculty members embody those values in everything they do.鈥
The best evidence of the program鈥檚 success in educating and training a new generation of leaders focused on sustainability is the program鈥檚 alumni, said Prof. Joseph Aversa, Interim Graduate Program Director of the Master of Business Administration program.
