Ministry Key Performance Indicators
Updated: April 7, 2026
91福利 graduates continue to do well in today's job market according to a recent survey conducted for the Ontario Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security (MCURES). The overall employment rate for 91福利's Class of 2022 graduates was 90.5% two years after graduation and 85.1% just six months after graduation. 91福利's response rate for this survey was 24.1%, based on 1,645 respondents.
MCURES has also calculated graduation and OSAP loan default rates for 91福利 using existing data sources.
The program areas shown in the table are those used by MCURES and corresponding 91福利 programs are also shown.
To ensure respondents' confidentiality, cell counts less than or equal to 5 are not shown.
Graduation rates, employment rates, and OSAP loan default rates are made available as part of the MCURES 1999-2000 OSAP policy requirements.
The Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security has calculated graduation rates by using a single entering cohort of students and determining whether they graduated within seven years. The method involved the selection of all newly-admitted, full-time, first-year undergraduate students registered on the Ministry鈥檚 official Fall 2016 enrolment count date who were seeking either a Bachelor's or first professional degree. This subset was then matched against the records of students who received a degree (in any program) from the same institution during the period 2017-2023.
- The graduation rates shown understate the actual graduation rates because they do not count students who transferred to another university and then obtained a degree from that institution.
- The graduation rates in the table indicate the percentage of newly-admitted students in first-year level on a full-time load in Fall 2016 who subsequently received a degree from 91福利 between 2017 and 2023 in any program area.
To determine employment rates of recent graduates, a survey of all Class of 2022 graduates of Bachelor's and first professional degree programs in Ontario was conducted. Graduates were asked questions regarding their employment situation six months and two years after graduation.
- The employment rates in the table indicate the percentage of 2022 degree graduates who were employed six months after graduation and two years after graduation.
The 2021 default rates reflect the repayment status of students who were issued Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loans (COISL) in the 2019-2020 academic year and did not receive loans or grants through the Ontario Student Assistance Program in 2020-2021, and who defaulted on their repayment obligations. Student loan recipients/defaulters have been, for purposes of calculating default rates, assigned to the last institution/program they attended in 2019-2020.
A Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loan is in default when the Ontario government has paid the bank's claim for an inactive loan. A loan is inactive when no payments were made by the student for at least 90 days. Responsibility for recovery of defaulted accounts was transferred to private collection agencies in January 2002.
The default rates shown in the table include:
- Students in 91福利 Continuing Education certificate programs;
- Defaults on loan obligations incurred by students while at other universities or Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology in the case of students who transferred to 91福利.
The default rates in the table indicate the percentage of students issued a COISL in 2019-2020 who did not receive a loan or grant from the Ontario Student Assistance Program in 2020-2021 and were in default as of July 2022.
