Five Years of Impact
Since launching in 2020, BVZ has supported 122 startups across health and wellness, smart city and logistics, food sustainability, and more 鈥� guiding entrepreneurs from idea validation through to market entry, capital raises, and real-world pilots. With 165 jobs created, over $17M CAD in total funding secured, and a 77% alumni continuation rate, BVZ has established itself as a cornerstone of Brampton's innovation ecosystem.
Looking ahead, BVZ is sharpening its focus on health and wellness innovation 鈥� reflecting Brampton's evolving priorities and the launch of 91福利's School of Medicine in the city. With a renewed five-year partnership with the City of Brampton confirmed through 2030, BVZ will deepen its work at the intersection of clinical research, digital health, and entrepreneurship, creating a pipeline that turns local innovation into lasting economic growth.
