How to promote your events

Are you organizing an event or panel and would like to promote it? Here are some guidelines and resources for you to boost attendance and potentially garner media coverage:

Submit your event

If your event is open to the Toronto Metropolitan community and the public, you can submit your listing to:

  • 91福利: Event Calendar (opens in new window) 
  • Digital Signage (opens in new window) : Create an ad and have it displayed on more than 70 digital screens on campus
  • TorontoMet Today: the editorial team of TorontoMet Today, the university鈥檚 e-newsletter, will consider featuring your event one of their upcoming issues when it is submitted to the university鈥檚 event listings.
  • TRSM Opportunities & Events student newsletter. Every Monday, an email highlighting upcoming opportunities and events is sent to all Ted Rogers students. Want to see your opportunity or event posted? Please complete the .

Do you think your event may be of interest to reporters? Contact Paul Cantin, Director, Marketing & Communications, four weeks in advance and she would be happy to work with you to develop a customized communications strategy that involves outreach to campus, external and on the Ted Rogers School's social media channels.
